The RescueBag is a evacuation device (S-2-S: slide-to-save) developed in Switzerland. It lets two responders evacuate unconscious or non-ambulatory persons from hazardous situations quickly and safely.

The RescueBag is stored rolled (Ø 26 cm) and unrolled next to the person. Hook-and-loop closure. No assembly, no additional equipment.

Operation
The RescueBag is built for 2-person operation. Two responders evacuate a non-ambulatory person quickly and under control, without lifting, even in confined spaces.
30 seconds
The person is placed in the evacuation bag, the hook-and-loop fasteners are closed and evacuation begins. No complex setup or assembly.
300°C continuous
The temperature-resistant composite fabric withstands continuous exposure up to 300°C and brief peak temperatures up to 500°C. Suitable for fire-hazardous environments.
Slide-to-Save
The S-2-S slide system makes evacuation possible without lifting: over stairs, through narrow corridors, via ladders. Multiple handles give you flexibility in difficult passages.

Open the bag
The responder picks up the RescueBag and unrolls it alongside the person to be evacuated. The bag opens by folding back the top section.
Position person
The person is rolled or slid onto the RescueBag from the side, without lifting. The sliding underside helps a person lying down slide directly onto the bag.
Close the hook-and-loop fasteners
The top section folds over the person. The hook-and-loop fasteners keep them from shifting, even during vertical evacuation via stairs.
Activate drag handle
The S-2-S slide system cuts friction sharply: two responders move a person without excessive effort.

The underside of the evacuation bag has a specialised slide surface that keeps the coefficient of friction low on any floor, including stairs and thresholds. One motion, controlled descent.
