Privacy Policy

1 · Who we are

Rescuebag is a trade name of IONIO B.V., registered at De Standerd 10, 3774 SC Kootwijkerbroek, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 65482654. IONIO B.V. is the controller for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.

2 · What data we process

We process the following data when you use our website or contact us:

  • Name, organisation, job title, email address and telephone number (quote and contact forms).
  • IP address, browser type and pages visited (analytical cookies).
  • Content of your message and any attachments.

3 · Purpose and legal basis

We process your data for: (a) responding to your enquiry or preparing a quote (performance of contract), (b) improving the website (legitimate interest), (c) sending newsletters, only if you have given consent.

4 · Retention period

Quote data is retained for 7 years (statutory obligation). Contact messages are retained for a maximum of 24 months after the last contact. Newsletter subscriptions are processed until you unsubscribe.

5 · Sharing with third parties

We share your data only with parties necessary to respond to your enquiry (e.g. a logistics partner for a quote). We do not sell data to third parties.

6 · Cookies

Our website uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work, for example to remember your language and your cookie preference. These are always set.

Only with your consent do we also use:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.), to measure and improve how the website is used;
  • Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Ltd.), to measure whether our ads lead to an enquiry.

On your first visit, our cookie notice asks for your consent. As long as you have not given consent, Google does not set cookies (Google Consent Mode). You can change your choice at any time via the “Manage consent” link at the bottom of the website. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7 · Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to data portability. Send your request to privacy@rescuebag.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8 · Security

We take appropriate measures: TLS 1.3 on all connections and 2FA on admin accounts.

9 · Changes

We reserve the right to amend this statement. The current version is always available on this page.
